Please read the following rules before your visit.

House Rules

Fishing Rules

  • Barbless hooks only
  • No wading, spods, spombs or bait boats
  • Landing nets and unhooking mats must be used on all lakes
  • Boilies to be used in moderation — no tiger nuts
  • Carp antiseptic must be carried and used on the specimen lake
  • Minimum 12lb line and 42" landing net for specimen lake
  • No keep nets except pre-booked matches — all nets must be dry before use
  • No holding fish in dry cloths
  • No disposable BBQs — gas stoves and reusable BBQs welcome
  • Please take your rubbish home
  • One non-fishing guest per angler
  • Fishing dawn till dusk, 365 days a year — no night fishing
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Dogs welcome on a lead — must not pester other anglers or wildlife
  • Please drive slowly — pedestrians and horses have right of way
  • Rig checks may be carried out — failure to comply results in a permanent ban
  • All anglers aged 12 and over must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence
  • All general rules apply, plus:
  • Minimum 2 keep nets per person
  • Maximum 50lb per keepnet — nets over this will be capped
  • Please keep silvers separate
  • No bait to be added before the whistle
  • Each swim extends halfway across and halfway to the next angler
